Review by hotel critic
During my recent trip to Lake Garda, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Villa Mulino, a charming spot perfect for beer enthusiasts like me, but with a unique twist. Nestled just a short stroll from the shimmering waters of Lake Garda, this hotel is set in a beautifully restored old watermill, which adds a lovely touch of character to the already stunning locale. What truly captivated me was the impeccable service from the staff who seemed genuinely dedicated to creating a welcoming environment—kudos to Simone for making our experience even more special, particularly for my partner and our little one! The facilities cater to both relaxation and fun; with a spacious outdoor pool surrounded by lush greenery and inviting sun decks, it’s an ideal spot for unwinding after a day of exploring. We particularly enjoyed the cozy dinners at the on-site restaurant that served up delightful Italian and international dishes. I highly recommend making time for a visit to this family-friendly gem—when I return, I look forward to sharing some craft beers from the nearby microbreweries with friends while enjoying the serene atmosphere on the hotel’s lovely terrace. It’s a welcoming retreat you won’t want to miss!
